BULIMIA AND ANOREXIA

Anorexia
This disease manifests itself in the rejection of food. People who suffer from it have a distorted image of their own body: they imagine that they look fat, despite being thin or even extremely thin.
They live with an intense fear of gaining weight, eat little food, count calories, are hyperactive, are socially isolated and often use laxatives.
Consequences: weight loss, fatigue, tiredness, dizziness, excessive sensitivity to cold, hair loss, dry skin, heart problems.

Bulimia
People with bulimia are afraid of fat becoming, however, they secretly eat compulsively and make themselves vomit after eating. They avoid social gatherings and may use weight loss medications.
Consequences: thickening of the neck glands (thyroid and parathyroid), small vascular breaks in the cheeks, fatigue, muscle aches, throat irritation, infections in the gums and loss of enamel on the teeth.
